Medicine Ball Ab workout 💪🏽💕 I actually had so much fun doing this today. 4 exercises, x10 each, 3 rounds. Disclaimer ⚠️ I’m not a personal trainer. I gym for my mental health and all round well-being. I have my form to work on aswell as stability but that’s what’s so great about videoing yourself! So you can get a look at what you need to work on 💯 While preforming dynamic exercises make sure you stretch your abs in the bottom position BUT suck your belly button to the floor and strengthen your core just before crunching! 😊

Bell Pepper chicken guisado with 13 blue corn tortilla chips. Recipe for bell pepper chicken: Boil 2 breast In a blender put 1 medium sized Roma tomatoe, 1/3 of an onion, one block of tomatoe seasoning, 1 Cup of water & blend. Cut 1 whole bell pepper and 1/3 of onion. In a pan put 2 tbsp of olive oil. Fry onion and bell pepper. Add in about 1 tbsp of Adobo seasoning. Once cooked set aside and take out the fully cooked breast and shred to preference. Once done put pan back on oven and on medium cook the chicken and veggies together. Continue to stir until you feel the chicken and veggies have mixed well. Then pour in what you have in the blender. If it needs more water then add more and let it boil all together for about 10 minutes on medium. Once chicken has soaked in some of the water you can turn on low until you are ready to serve. MRI pulled up some cartilage damage, but nothing more serious which is obviously good but still concerning that it’s taken all this time. 🌟 Gym Etiquette @ripped.shredded . 🦍 The gym sometimes can be a bit of a weird environment, one that’s full of many different characters and sometimes it can be a little intimidating. . 🚫 If you've been going to the gym for a while, you probably would have been witness to some questionable gym etiquette by now. Only yesterday I witnessed some shockers. Here’s a few things to avoid doing if you don't want to piss people off: . ❌ - The ‘look at me show’, you know the ones, the muppets that make unnecessary levels of noise and peacocking around the gym thinking they're the shyt, throwing the weights around and trying to be centre of attention. Don't get me wrong I am fully aware that sometimes you get in the zone, your headphones are on and sometimes noises will be made. However, when it’s done just to be a show man/ woman, that’s when it will wind people up. . ❌ - Being that creepy guy. Staring at girls those big round butts in yoga pants with your mouth wide open and your tongue hanging out when they are squatting probably wont go down too well! And girls we know you are just as bad too, rein it in. . ❌ - “Oh sorry I'm using that machine mate”… Then sits there for the next 10 minutes browsing through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Musically, Youtube before deciding to re visit his old Myspace and Bebo account and then doing his set before then sitting there for another 10 minutes. Don't be that guy/ girl. . 🤗 Good gym etiquette goes a long way and it can actually make people feel more at ease. So make an effort to be courteous to others. . ✅ Smile at people, it will make them feel at ease. ✅ Offer to share with people and work in together while the other rests. ✅ Wipe away your sweat off the bench/ machine. ✅ Re-rack your weights. ✅ If someones struggling spot them, if someones new then help them. . 😃 Above all just be a good person, you know like you should be in real life! . Moderate Volume: Because you’re new to training and are hyper-sensitive to the stimulus, you don’t have to annihilate each muscle group with insane amounts of volume. A few sets for each muscle group per day will be more than enough to produce growth (this is especially true with adequate frequency).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ _ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Frequency: We want to ensure we’re hitting each muscle-group twice per week if we want to maximize growth. This has been shown to produce more growth than training each muscle once per week even when volume is equal. Not only that, but the more frequently you perform an exercise, the more efficient you become at that lift, making it far easier to progress. Weight loss can include muscle or fat tissue and considering our goal is to gain muscle, that would be counterproductive. When you eat, your body has three options as to what it will do with those calories. It will either: ✨Burn them for fuel ✨Rebuild Muscle ✨Store them as fat Throughout the course of your life, your body has been storing calories as ‘stored fat’. We all have it. We need it to survive. & this is good news for going into a fatloss phase! Knowing this, we can conclude you do not need to be in a surplus to gain muscle.😱 Your body is smart enough to use the stored calories to support your everyday functions as a human, burn fat AND build muscle. 😍 It is good to note the amount of time you can continue to build muscle and burn fat will depend on the amount of stored fat you start with.
