How did you change your lifestyle? I am always asked this question. It was a slow and gradual process that was right for me. It started by going to the gym. Running....playing GAA and soccer. Aerobics and Fitness classes. Then I found crossfit. The rest is history in terms of training. The nutrition on the other hand was a rollercoaster. It has taken me a long long long time to be in a position where I am comfortable with my food. If I decide to eat out I dont feel guilty and I dont punish myself. The biggest thing that changed for me was the cigarettes. They had to go. ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ Once they went the drink had to go too for the time being. The went hand in hand with me. It was easier to cut the two. Now I can drink if I like but a lot of the time I choose not too. For anyone starting off. Start by moving more, water and more veg. Hey guys! Today makes day 3 of us not being able to make it to the gym or get together in general for a workout because life is just so busy! 3 days doesnt mean defeat though! It doesnt mean we failed, it doesnt mean we fell out of rhythm, it means were HUMAN. We remained active in our own ways; for me today that was babysitting 15-20 kids at once and mowing my lawn resulting in 2,506 calories burned so far today! How to LOVE working out ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป โญ๏ธ FIRST: Try everything until you find what you actually LIKE doing. This simple rule has changed my life. I tried getting a personal trainer, running on a treadmill for hours, and i tried every class imaginable until i found lifting. I found something that excited me. Youโ€™re ONLY going to remain consistent if you find something you actually like to do ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ โญ๏ธ Give yourself rest days! Thereโ€™s no way i would love working out if i did it every single day. I also highly recommend taking a break from working out after a while of being consistent. Iโ€™m on one right now for about 4-5 days. It helps me reset and refocus ๐Ÿ˜ด โญ๏ธ Mix up your cardio! If youโ€™re anything like me you HATE cardio. Mixing things up with fun HIIT workouts, sports, hikes, & swimming will help keep things exciting ๐Ÿฅณ โญ๏ธ After a while of working out the same muscles on the same days a week try totally rearranging your workout split/ schedule! Sometimes a little change can inspire you! โญ๏ธGive yourself a reward system. Treat Yo Self to that piece of cake at the end of your great week ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฐ โญ๏ธ Do your make up, wear your hair in a cute hair style, or buy some new gym clothes! Anything to bring you some confidence ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Sometimes youโ€™ll catch me wearing a bright pink lip mid sweat๐Ÿ˜ฑ โญ๏ธSet PRโ€™s!!
