Triceps👍🏼 —————————————————————- Skull Crushers: 2x10-12 Skull Crushers: 2x10-12 Dips: 100 —————————————————————- Skull Crushers... a TRICEPS exercise that is disrespected in gyms everywhere. I see people doing skull crushers incorrectly in real life and in influencer accounts on here all the time. You can do them either of the ways that I show in the videos. The humerus (upper arm) should remain as still as possible during this exercise. It doesn’t matter if you do the 45 degree angle and have the ending position behind your head for “added range of motion” if you are swinging the bar and using your lats and delts to help in this TRICEP exercise. If you do classic skull crushers and aim at your forehead, keep your elbows/upper arm still while using the TRICEPS to lift the weight. Both of these types of skull crushers will BURN the triceps especially if done on a decline. My back and shoulders workout from this weekend: Shoulder press- 4 sets, reps of 10,10,8,8 Barbell highpull- 4 sets of 10 Dumbbell rows- 3 sets of 12 per arm This form tends to be easier on your spine than putting your knee on the bench👍🏻👍🏻 Lateral raises- 3 sets of 12 Front raises- 3 sets of 10 per arm Dumbbell shrugs- 3 sets of 10 Superset: Seated cable rows- 3 sets of 12 Close-grip pulldowns- 3 sets of 10 Make sure to get some sort of protein in you within the first 1-2 hours after your workouts. This is the time period when protein synthesis will have the greatest response, leading to greater results. Almost all muscle adaptations occur post-exercise for this reason exactly. So lately I’ve been putting a lot more emphasis on full body workouts because now I learned you can do full body everyday as long as you aren’t doing too much volume. This is also really good if you want proper recovery!
