Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf declared May 23rd “1-4-3 Day,” a day dedicated to kindness in honor of Pennsylvania native Fred Rogers. Fred Rogers, or Mister Rogers, the host of the TV show "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood,” used the number “1-4-3” to mean “I love you.” A page on Pennsylvania’s state website encourages Pennsylvanians to celebrate “1-4-3” with good deeds and acts of kindness towards their neighbors.
“As governor, I’ve met countless Pennsylvanians. And I know we’re genuinely nice people. Join me in spreading love today and seeing just how far a little kindness can go,” wrote Gov. Wolf in a post on Twitter.
