Give this HIGH VOLUME ARM workout a shot 💪🔥. Swipe for a form video, read below, and give the workout a save ↗️↗️↗️. .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Standing concentration curls. I want to highlight a few key things. I’ve had the most success with slow negatives (4-5 seconds), pivoting predominantly at the elbow, and holding the contraction at the top of the movement for a brief moment. .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you watch closely, as I near peak contraction at the top of the movement, you’ll see that I slowly raise my elbows up a little like you would doing a front squat. I’ve found that this tiny, added movement, 💥 EXPLODES 💥 the bicep. Squats for today’s workout and a bit of accessory, I hit 335lbs//152kg for a 3x3 followed up by a few sets of front squats to work on depth, they should help out in the long run, so I plan to do them more often. Down to 216lbs another 11 pounds and ill be good for my meet in December. Big joe came from a long powerlifting background. Being 6’7 and 300+ pounds, he was habitual with a sumo pull, and a very wide squat stance. Due to years of moving in that pattern and not stretching , getting him into a deep squat with an upright chest necessary for this sport, was our first objective. In less than two months he has been able to accomplish that. Now we can slowly start to use the strength he has previously developed and turn that into some great numbers! Killed shoulders tonight! 4 sets of dumbell military press maxing out at 55 lbs, side dumbell raises 4 sets, 4 sets of bent over dumbell raises for rear delts! Finally hitting 4 sets of dumbell shrugs final set maxing out at 85 lbs! I love using my Harbinger Dura Grip Lifting Straps! @harbingerfitness ( in the shrug video you see me move my feet, I am adjusting into a iron shirt position becoming more focused on the lift and building energy. This is a qigong technique) I added a huge amount of weight to my lifts! I then finished with 45 mins of cardio, and a head stand and tried a pike head stand.
